The EHEIM professionel 5e is our best external filter. It offers everything an aquarist could wish for. You can program and control it individually wirelessly. The electronics monitor all functions and keep the flow constant. It also offers you strong performance and a large filter volume. Thanks to the clever design and electronic flow regulation, the cleaning intervals for the biological filter material are significantly extended. Added to this is the proverbial EHEIM smooth running. There are four models for aquariums from 180 to 700 liters, including a thermal filter (600T) with an integrated heater. The professionel 5e 350 also offers you two advantages: It is fully equipped with filter media and you can extend the filter function (Xtender).

EHEIM professionel 5e — the electronic external filter with wireless control and many advantages
The EHEIM professionel 5e was developed for aquarists with very high standards of comfort and quality. It combines strong pump performance and large container and filter volume as well as clever design advantages with intelligent electronic control. Using the integrated WLAN function (Wifi), it can be freely configured wirelessly using a smartphone, tablet or PC/MAC. The freely configurable modes are: constant flow, bio mode, pulse mode and manual mode. In addition, the professionel 5e can be linked to other devices - e.g. B. with the lighting control LEDcontrol+.
The individual settings and functions are:
Output control:
Gradual increase in water flow. The maximum performance far exceeds the performance of conventional filters.
Constant flow:
The electronics detect increasing contamination in the filter and automatically adjust to the output you have set. This guarantees consistently constant flow values and long service lives.
Pulse mode:
The electronically controlled alternating current ensures natural flow conditions in the aquarium that are constantly changing.
Bio mode (Sun/Moon):
Switch between 2 adjustable flow rates.
Service indicator:
Constant monitoring of the cleaning interval. Cleaning instructions are automatically sent to a stored email address.
Autoair out:
Air accumulation under the filter head is detected and automatically drained away using an electronic program.
Electronic error indicator:
Permanent electronic system monitoring. A program starts that automatically tries to eliminate the causes of errors.
WLAN (Wifi) off:
Optionally, the integrated WLAN function (Wifi) can be deactivated after a one-time configuration. The filter can still be operated without WiFi. In order to be able to use the functions again, the WLAN function must be activated again.
