Juwel Phorax phosphate remover. The Juwel Phorax phosphate remover is a very effective filter medium for breaking down phosphates in your aquarium. Among other things, phosphates regularly enter the water through fish feed and can only be incompletely broken down naturally.
Juwel Phorax consists of an aluminum mineral that binds dissolved phosphate by forming a water-insoluble aluminum phosphate and removes water from it. JUWEL Phorax is highly effective and binds up to 12mg of phosphate with just 1 gram of Phorax.
The degradation effectively reduces algae growth and contributes to improved plant growth. Too much phosphate in the water can cause an algae plague.
Is suitable for both fresh and sea water.
